FREE Richmond CERT training classes start March 23rd. Register by 3/2/2023.

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training will start March 23 in Richmond. Classes in light search and rescue, medical assessment, pet preparedness and more will run for 9-weeks on Thursday evenings followed by a Saturday disaster simulation drill.

Dates: Thursdays, March 23 through May 18
Times: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Place: Richmond Fire Department Training Center, 3506 Cutting Blvd.
Last day and final drill: Saturday, May 20, 8-Noon

These free classes will be conducted by Richmond firefighters and certified community instructors. You will gain essential skills to support your community after an earthquake or other disaster.
